I start this project with the tassel that we made in the previous blog.
Find some sturdy cardboard that is decoratively printed on both sides. Cut a piece to measure roughly 7 x 16 cm.
Fold the cardboard double.
Draw the outline of a wing on the cardboard.
Cut the wing out on the fold.
Find coordinating pipe cleaner and twist one end around the head of the tassel, securing it to the tassel. Bend the other end upward.
Make a round loop over the tassel to form a halo and cut the remaining length of the pipe cleaner off. Pull the chord that the tassel hangs from through the halo.
The halo as seen from the other side.
Use your hot glue gun and drop a blob of glue in the center of the wings. Lay the tassel on top of this glue.
You can now hang your angel on the Christmas tree. I suggest you make various coloured angels with wings of different shapes and colours to make it more festive.
