Sift togther 2 cups (500 ml) cake flour, 4 teaspoons (20 ml) baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon (2,5 ml) salt and 4 teaspoons (20 ml) sugar.
Finely chop 1/4 cup (60 ml) of raisins and add to the bowl.
Finely chop 1/4 cup (60 ml) of dates and add to the bowl.
Finely chop 1/2 cup (125 ml) of macadamia nuts and add to the bowl.
Add 1 unbeaten egg, 1 cup (250 ml) milk and 50 ml cooking oil.
Mix everything with a knife. DO NOT mix too much!
Spoon the roughly mixed ingredients into muffin pans. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes.
Serve hot with butter. Alternatively, if you do not have a house full of hungry children, ranging from preschoolers to teenagers, allow it to cool on a wire rack and serve slightly warm with butter!
