This is the layout I cut with the Cricut Expression 2.
I fed the first sheet of paper into the machine.
Carefully remove the backing and cutouts from the cutting sheet.
I fed the second sheet of paper into the machine.
Here you can see the shapes that have been cut more clearly.
A third and fourth sheets of paper was also fed into the machine.
These are the cutouts I was left with when the project was cut.
Start with a pink A4 sheet of cardboard.
Fold the cardboard in half to serve as the card.
Crop a sheet of purple paper to size. I worked on 5" x 5".
Cut a dirty pink sheet of paper just larger than the purple.
Stick the purple to the muddy pink paper.
Stick four squares down on the matting.
Stick all of this down on your card.
Trim the leftover paper to fit at the bottom of the card.
Stick the trimmed leftovers down at the bottom of the card.
Stick a strip of coordinating paper down on top of the matting. This should repeat the colours in your squares.
Stick a cutout heart down on the matting.
Stick down two more heart-shaped outlines.
Use your Tombow glue to tell the story of where the newborn comes from.
I used stickers to announce the gender of the expected baby.
The completed card.
